Helen Carufel, 94, passed at home peacefully on October 4th. She was the wife of the late Henry Carufel. Born in Pawtucket, RI, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Myrtice I. (Ashworth) Dempsey.
She is survived by her children, Sandra Nelson, Ricky Carufel and Sharon Carufel; seven grandchildren: Josh, Holly Olson, Eric Eleves, Joy Carufel, Faith Sostre, Felisha Oliveira, Tahni Elliott; six great-grandchildren: Destiny, Tavi, Elijah, Mahkai, Mila, Brittani, and Eric.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, October 8th from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Burial will be private in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
